Workout of the Week 06-10-19 Drop Sets Week 2 - Chest



Here we gooo for our June Workout Of the Week series focusing on drop sets 💪🏼.
Drop sets are a great way to increase muscle stimulation and promote muscle hypertrophy (size/growth) by increasing blood flow, supporting muscle fiber recruitment and taxing your muscles to exhaustion through a series of added volume. -
How to perform: You will complete the specified sets/reps of each exercise and then for the final set you will rep out your normal 10-12 reps. -
Immediately following you will drop the weight by 5-10lbs and complete another 10-12 reps
Again, you will drop the weight an additional 5-10lbs and perform another 10-12 reps
Then, lastly, you will repeat. Drop the weight one more time, an additional 5-10lbs and complete as many reps as you can until failure... Feel. The. Burn. 🔥💪🏼
