My Story:

Being active has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started my fitness journey as a dancer when I was two years old and continued dancing throughout all of high school. During high school, I played basketball and ran track as well as dance, but I never really found my niche in fitness until college. Once I started college, I put fitness on the back burner and used my studies as an excuse since I was pursuing a double degree and had plans to attend law school. After my first year of college, I realized that I needed to make a change and quickly. I decided to become a Personal Trainer and chose to compete in my first show in order to challenge myself and build my training business. Little did I know, competing would become my passion, but not for the reasons that one might think. Through competition prep, I grew immensely in terms of my mental strength and confidence. I started to pursue opportunities that I wouldn’t have before and take on more than I would have previously because I viewed myself in a completely different light. This switch in mindset showed me that instead of pursuing my original plan to become a lawyer, I needed to instead show others that they were capable of anything that they could set their minds to and that it all starts with how you fuel and move your body.

Why I love coaching:

“If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.” -Unknown When you begin to believe in yourself, you start to realize that you can achieve and accomplish all the goals that may have once seemed impossible. In my experience, I’ve realized that the best way to develop confidence in yourself is to constantly challenge, push, and make yourself uncomfortable. The best way to do this is to invest in yourself by ensuring that you can create the life you want to live and do the things you want to do by taking care of your body. When you look good, you feel even better. I used to think that I was passionate about fitness, but I’ve realized that I’m actually passionate about helping others on their own personal journey of bettering themselves and on the path of continual growth. I’m so incredibly grateful to be able to play a role in each and every one of my clients’ journeys and am so humbled to watch each person transform. I love experiencing the highs with my clients and helping them through the lows. The transformations that I see and get to play a role in go much deeper than just the physical and I truly can’t express my gratitude to my clients for allowing me to take part in their journeys.

My coaching style:

I’m an all-in kind of gal. I push my clients to be and do their best and expect nothing less from them. That being said, I’m understanding of struggles and obstacles because this whole thing is a process. There will be growing pains, but as long as my clients believe in themselves and trust in the process, I will do the same. Expect to be challenged, pushed, encouraged, and above all else, supported. I strive to make sure that all my clients feel attended to and that they feel as though their needs and goals are being met. My biggest requirement is commitment to yourself and the program. Effort is what matters to me. I want to make sure that the changes we are making as a team are changes that stick around. This isn’t just about attaining short-term goals; I coach to create habits that will last a lifetime. In order to be successful together, I only ask that my clients realize the importance of communication. Being honest and open allows for the greatest chance of success and although it can seem scary to admit when things aren’t going according to plan, honesty allows me to adjust to make this whole process enjoyable, rather than sacrificial. We are a TEAM and I strive to create an environment that breeds success, no matter what the timeline or goals. I can’t wait to get started on your goals together and introduce you to the Atlas Nutrition family! Let’s get this ball rolling and take the first step toward investing in yourself!
